Research and Evaluation Expert


He comes with over 10 years’ multi-sectoral experience in the social development space and is a multi-functional social and development researcher and a programme evaluation expert. Areas of expertise comprises social development research - planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, operational assessment - in education, gender and development, social protection and policy, poverty and economic analysis. He has worked as the Research Manager for Associates for Change (social research brand) and for Kantar Public global brand and has also had six years of experience in public service as a Senior Officer giving him a public/private sector blend of experience.


Currently serves as the Project Manager and Evaluator on the MiDA Energy Efficiency and Conservation Pre-Tertiary Curriculum Update Project and a Freelance social and development consultant/evaluator. Jones has much experience in qualitative, quantitative and mixed method approach to research, evaluation and analysis in social and economic development. Jones has led teams in carrying out complex donor-funded, national and international research projects and evaluations across Ghana and in West Africa. He is an expert in the formulation of programmes and strategic frameworks, project design, policy development, review and dialogue, programme management and advocacy and has extensive knowledge of the socio-development environment in Ghana.
