Associate M&E and Local Government Expert


Yvette Kwami is a Local Government Specialist with a rich experience in working at the Municipal, District and Community level. She has over 8 years’ work experience in local government. She also has experience in designing M&E tools and implementing M&E activities at the local level. She was instrumental in designing the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly’s Monitoring and Evaluation systems to collect, manage and disseminate data for reporting progress towards the project objectives. She is passionate about creating impact in local communities and developed a proposal to raise funds with international agencies, NGOs, and private enterprises to execute socio-economic development projects within the municipality with the aim of creating jobs for women and boosting agricultural activities.


She has also initiated private partnership projects with Jekora Ventures Limited, Embassy of the Netherlands, and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) leading to the establishment of the first fortifier plant in the Yilo Krobo Municipality. At the district level, Yvette has worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst with the Ho West District Assembly. As a Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst, she coordinated the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of key government social policy reform programmes including the ‘School Feeding Programme’ within the forty-two (42) beneficiary schools in the district. She also managed the HIV MSHARP FUND, (a fund designated for HIV activities) to ensure its effective and efficient use in the Ho West District.
